Dove Thermal handles small-to-medium engineering projects of up to £1million in value. Some are concerned with plant building - such as our warehouse airconditioning, site services and boilerhouse installations - whilst others do not bear directly upon construction activities.

Examples of projects undertaken outside engineering and civil construction include the analysis, design and implementation of production management systems, the restoration of critical plant following fire and flood, and the integration of factory services at several large industrial sites.

We have the ability to enter into situations where local difficulties with personnel or engineering issues are placing production or business development development at risk. Bringing people together, sorting-out technical difficulties, and completing half-finished projects are what we can do - and have done on several occasions.

Analysis of client objectives enables plans to be formulated, essential programme requirements to be assessed and resources to be allocated. Some PM topics are more closely related to Project Engineering per se. For instance, we were asked to rationalise steam and condensate systems at an entrenched 100 acre site in the North of England, also bringing together its many chemical effluent streams for treatment. Daunting - until we discovered untouched log books from various works departments going back over 50 years. No-one had looked at them. We did, and our job was next to done.
